Love the explanation, but air separator is not the same. There are oil catch cans with pressure relief valves so that they don't damage the engine. Your air separator does not have that.

Thank you sir for another public utility video! There are very few oil additives that can help engines to run smooth and / or a little more efficiently. Those are usually not cheap, quality has its price. Even so, people must know that even those that should work, have false / pirate versions. To be safe, use only manufacturer approved / recomended products and from a safe source. Mixing strange products with the engine oil may result in a clogged oil line that would lead to catastrophic damage. Sir, in your country there are more than one kind of diesel available? In my country we have mainly two versions: S500 and S10 Being the 500 and 10 the sulfur ppm number. Ive seen lots of people recomending for older engines like 4d56 the usage of S500 only and to mix like 1 liter of engine oil for each full tank of diesel in order to keep injection pump and injectors lubricated. People say that the sulfur in the diesel should act like the lubricant for those parts, and the leak of sulfur in modern diesel would drastically reduce the life span of those parts, causing premature failure. Is there the same problem in your country? Thank you!

I personally am not convinced but to each his own. I made my own high flow catch can based on research papers I found online and it has been great at keeping my intake manifold completely clear of oil that previously mixed with EGR gases and created a mess.

YES a very good tool the only thing is the time you know you have a leak you have already lost the refrigerant , but when you do refill and you do see a small leak from the valve this will save your new gas what is very expensive also we put colour die in our refrigerant through the valve so if we lost refrigerant and we see die on the valve with a UVA this would not tell us , yes a great tool thank you .

Oh he's talking about crankcase pressure increasing because the catch can with brass condenser/scrubber creates too much air resistance. In America, manufacturers are required to install a PCV valve. These also have resistance and would do the same thing, soil the paper funnel. Sounds like he's in the Philippines. Island driving isn't like the driving in the States. Plus, he is in a Republic so they have the freedom to pollute their environment in the Rural areas. No big deal not many people have cars and motorbikes in the countryside. We use the Catch Cans with breather filter in the lesser regulated areas of the United States on high mileage vehicles. It maybe illegal in the cities and population dense states where the dirty hippies reside. But in rural areas you want a catch can with a breather just in case your mechanic put too much oil in the crank case. It's less labor intensive compared to dealing with a p0420 because the blowby from the PCV valve fouled your intake and created a misfire which then carbonized your catalytic converter. A clean intake is more important for Americans where we travel on average of 2 hours on the road at 70 MPH.
